Photo workshop - Lofoten in Norway 1-8 march 2026

from €500.00

LOFOTEN IN NORWAY 1-8 MARCH 2026

Build your dream portfolio under the golden Arctic light—and maybe even the Northern Lights.

Join us on an 8-day photography workshop to the breathtaking Lofoten Islands, Norway’s crown jewel of dramatic landscapes, rugged coastlines, and snow-covered peaks. Based in a cozy hotel near Leknes—perfectly located in the heart of Lofoten—we'll explore both iconic spots and lesser-known gems.

With just a short drive from Leknes airport (where we’ll pick you up and drop you off), we’re perfectly positioned to chase light wherever it leads us.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The early spring light in Lofoten is nothing short of magical. Long golden hours, low sun angles, fresh snow, and moody skies set the stage for stunning compositions. From sharp mountain ridges to glassy fjords and picturesque fishing villages, the islands offer endless opportunities for creativity.

And when night falls—if the skies are clear—you may be treated to a spectacular show: the Northern Lights dancing overhead. While our focus remains on landscapes and light, we’re always ready to grab the tripod and head out when the aurora appears.

ITINERARY SNAPSHOT

DAY 1 – Arrival & Welcome
We’ll meet you at Leknes Airport and take a short drive to our cottages, which will be your comfortable base for the entire stay. After settling in, we’ll walk through the days ahead—gear checks, questions, and early inspiration included.

DAYS 2–6 – Explore & Shoot
Each day we’ll adapt to the ever-changing weather to ensure you’re in the right place at the right time. We’ll cover iconic locations from Å to Svolvær, while also stopping for spontaneous light and unexpected moments. Sunrise, sunset, soft light and—if we’re lucky—northern lights.

DAY 7 – Final Shots & Farewell
We’ll make a relaxed return trip to the airport with photo stops along the way. You’ll fly home with memory cards full of magic and hopefully a bit of Arctic glow still in your cheeks.
